Preparation

Nutramigen 1 with LGG® has specific preparation instructions. Carefully follow the instructions for preparation and use.

Wash hands thoroughly. Clean bottles, teats, caps and utensils in water (10 minutes at a rolling boil).

Boil fresh water. Cool down to room temperature. Do not use softened water. Pour desired amount of water into clean bottle.

Add required number of level scoops of powder (see feeding guidelines). Store dry scoop in the can.

Cap bottle, roll and shake well until powder dissolves completely (approx. 1 minute). Check temperature on the inside of your wrist.

Once prepared, formula can spoil quickly. Feed immediately after preparation or cover and store in a refrigerator at 2-4°C for no longer than 24 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula and do not use if unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. Use formula that has been in contact with your baby’s mouth within 1 hour and do not refrigerate. Throw away prepared formula left in bottle and clean utensils.

Our formulas have recently been updated

We have recently updated our formulations to meet the requirements of a new legislation related to special milks. This means minor changes have been made to the micro and macronutient levels in our formulas. All manufacturers of infants formulas will have to make changes to their formulas to comply with the new legislation which reflects the latest scientific recommendations.

We are conscious that even the smallest changes to your baby's formula can cause concern but please be reassured that your baby can safely transition onto the updated formula. For more information on the changes please visit our FAQs.
