Important notice: Breastfeeding provides the best nutrition for babies. The decision to discontinue breastfeeding may be difficult to reverse and the introduction of partial bottle-feeding may reduce breast milk supply. The financial benefits of breastfeeding should be considered before bottle-feeding is initiated. Failure to follow preparation instructions carefully may be harmful to your baby's health. Your healthcare professional is the best source of advice in the care and feeding of your infant and on the addition of suitable foods to their diet as they grow. Cup feeding should be encouraged from 6 months of age and bottle feeding discouraged after 12 months. Only baby milks and cooled boiled water should be given from a bottle. Nutramigen Lipil 1, Nutramigen Lipil 2, Nutramigen AA, Pregestimil Lipil, Enfamil AR and Enfamil O-Lac must be used under medical supervision.

LIPIL* helps to give your baby a good start in life

As a parent you want to give your baby a good start in life. That is why Mead Johnson enriches all of its formulas with LIPIL.

LIPIL is proven to support normal visual development of infants.1 This effect can be achieved through consuming the amount of formula suggested in the feeding table on the tins.

What is LIPIL?

LIPIL is a special blend of nutrients that includes DHA, also known as an omega-3 fatty acid. DHA is present in breast milk and contributes to normal visual development.

Nutramigen LIPIL contains a DHA level of 0.32% because scientific studies have shown that this is the level needed to support children’s normal visual development.1
