Breast milk has long been praised for its benefits in Infant Health and Development, which is always the case. 1911: Dextri-Maltose®

Edward Mead Johnson remembered the difficulties met to feed his son Ted, who could hardly tolerate any food. Ted had to be fed with a mixture of cooked hulled grain containing some Dextrin (sugars). E. Mead sought advice from one of the leading paediatricians at the time.
Dextri-Maltose, the first milk containing modified carbohydrates had been born. Dextri-Maltose was a pioneer product in infant feeding and stayed on the market for over 60 years.
